Getting Around
By Foot
The area has some excellent footpaths to suit all abilities and campers can enjoy anything from short walks on the farm to long walks along the River Leach to Southrop or along the Thames path.
By Bike
Cyclists can access the quiet country lanes from the farm to visit the numerous pretty Cotswold villages
By Car
The site is within comfortable distance to many of the larger towns in the area. Burford and Bibury are both fifteen minutes away.
If you’re looking to go shopping, Cirencester is 30 minutes and very straightforward to get to – it is very nice but small, with free parking after 3pm.
Cheltenham is about 45 minutes by car, or the Designer Outlet Centre in Swindon only 30 minutes or so (depending on traffic).

Local Attractions
The Cotswold Wildlife Park is a great day out for all the family and is only 20 minutes away by car. The Cotswold Water Park is also close by and offers a range of activities including water sports, fishing, and walking.
Local Towns
The market towns of Lechlade and Fairford are both close by and offer a range of amenities including shops, pubs, and restaurants.
Food & Drink
Pubs
There are many lovely pubs in the area, including a handful of options in Lechlade, which is about a 20-minute walk to the marketplace from us. Our favourite nearby is the Victoria Inn in Eastleach Turville, which is about an hour walk away across footpaths.
The Swan in Southrop is also en route, a 30-minute walk away from us.
There is also The Plough at Kelmscott, and the Keepers Arms in Quenington, both of which are a 10-minute drive away.
Lastly, the Falcon in Poulton is half way to Cirencester and has some great food, so worth a stop off.
Restaurants
Kushi is a great Indian restaurant in Lechlade, which is about 15 minutes away by car. The Five Alls in Filkins is a lovely pub with a great restaurant and is about 10 minutes away by car.
